We’re delighted to be shortlisted in 2 categories at the upcoming National Fellowship & Industry Awards taking place on June 21st.
The Fellowship & Industry Awards acknowledge professionals, teams and organisations who have made an outstanding contribution to the analytics and data science sector in Ireland. The awards are the ultimate in peer recognition with winners selected by Analytics Institute members in a nationwide vote.
Our work within the Data Analytics domain sees us nominated for the Analytics Innovation Award and the Emerging Tech Product Award categories.
The Analytics Innovation category recognises achievement in the use of a progressive, analytics-based approach to solve a business challenge or seize an opportunity. The nomination recognises our ongoing work on an advanced open source data analytics platform in collaboration with our client Travelport Digital, the world’s largest dedicated mobile travel technology provider.
The delivered platform captures travelers’ interactions with mobile travel applications related to everything from research & bookings to itinerary management and ancillary purchase patterns, and enables aggregation, analysis and reporting on these interactions through several different end-user lenses.
Together with real time analysis of clickstream data, the platform allows for trending and deep learning analysis by current and future machine learning applications, addressing opportunities such as segmentation and recommendation to create the best outcome for every user interaction with a Travelport application.

The second category - Emerging Tech Product award recognises Sonalake’s VisiMetrix™ solution and its demonstrable impact on the view of the Analytics Industry from the vertical with one of the largest real time data banks in the world - Telecom Service Providers.
VisiMetrix™ is a domain specialised solution for the telecom service provider industry, designed to share near real-time network intelligence across multiple user groups within the organisation. It combines network performance visualisation, monitoring and analytics on a single platform, enabling end-to-end service management.
While VisiMetrix™ handles the complexity of this multi-dimensional problem, the key to the solution’s success has been in making that data available in an intuitive manner for a range of end users through dashboards, wallboards and tailored visualisations for their unique functions, from CxO to Care Agent.
VisiMetrix™ is constantly evolving based on new research and innovation as well as valuable customer feedback as we introduce new features, including machine learning techniques in areas such as anomaly detection and clustering.

Both nominations reflect our focus on Applying advanced data analytics technology to augment, improve, or automate human decision-making for better business and customer outcomes.
The Analytics Institute Fellowship and Awards will be presented at a Gala Lunch Event hosted by Sile Seoige on 21st June 2019 in the Banking Hall at the Westin Hotel, Dublin 2.
