Connected Britain is the UK’s biggest, best-attended event for next-generation broadband, attracting expert speakers and stakeholders from across the industry. It’s a chance to network, discuss the latest connectivity developments and newest technologies, and hear about FTTx, FTTH, LTE and 5G network deployment opportunities in the UK.
“We’re delighted to be returning to exhibit at Connected Britain 2022,” says Niall Halpenny, International Business Development Director at Sonalake. “Every notable alternative network operator (Altnet), established fibre operator, and supplier will be in attendance. So it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet with industry stakeholders, discover what’s happening in the industry from a multitude of perspectives, and anticipate the trends for the coming year.”
We’ve attended every Connected Britain since the first event in 2017, and will bring our largest-ever delegation to the 2022 event to demonstrate our telecom solutions. As exhibitors at the two-day event, we will showcase SwitchedOn Fibre and VisiMetrix to attendees.
SwitchedOn Fibre is a powerful FTTx BSS suite that simplifies customer acquisition, management and billing. It allows fibre operators to automate processes across wholesale, retail and enterprise services. It interoperates with new and legacy systems to deliver an integrated customer experience.
VisiMetrix provides AIOps enabled network service analytics to deliver real time network and service monitoring, predictive analytics, user-friendly visualisations and multi-vendor integration. It can extract data from new and legacy systems, predict trends, identify problems, assess customer impact and facilitate early intervention.
Attendees can visit us at Booth 119 to hear about our recent success stories, discuss our real-world experiences, and find out more about our latest software solutions.
“With our international software solutions and our data science expertise, we are uniquely placed to address the current industry challenges” adds Niall. “The Altnet industry is evolving at speed and the problems that they’ll experience in the next year or two are not the same problems that they faced two years ago. Providers are no longer focused on build; instead they are now dealing with issues related to serving customers, competition, or mergers and acquisitions.
“That’s a space in which we excel. Thanks to the lessons we’ve learned over 20-plus years in the industry, our innovative software, and our understanding of where the industry is going, we believe that our advanced telecom solutions offer something different to other solutions on the market.”
Connected Britain was established to inform industry representatives about the technology, regulations, and investment environment in the sector. It now features curated content from over 250 innovators and disruptors in the telecoms sector. The two-day event will feature talks, panel discussions, and roundtables that look at how next-generation broadband technologies are enabling new opportunities in the UK.
