They say that good things come in threes and that’s certainly the case with this year’s AI Awards Ireland, which have recognised our work in data science and predictive analytics technologies. We were announced as shortlisted finalists in the following categories:
Recognising our work to predict the impact of weather conditions on Quality of Service (QoS) in mobile networks and, in turn, forecast QoS violations up to seven days into the future, enabling communication service providers time to plan preventative maintenance activities. This functionality is now part of VisiMetrix™, our AIOPs enabled network service analytics solution.
This recognises our work to automate anomaly detection and to provide accurate, real-time insights to communication service providers. Our solution monitors and analyses network performance data and detects anomalies or changes that have the potential to negatively affect QoS or customer experience that may require further investigation.
Finally, congratulations to Farooq Shaikh, who was shortlisted in the Young AI Role Model of the Year category! It recognises his outstanding contribution to our data analytics team, involvement in AIOps projects, and mentorship of the new hires on our graduate programme.
The AI Awards were established to promote the best use of AI in Ireland and this year’s awards take place in the Gibson Hotel, Dublin 1, on November 23. You can find out more about the awards on the AI Ireland website.
