Connected Britain Award: Sonalake shortlisted for the Enterprise Solution of the Year

Sonalake has been shortlisted in the Enterprise Solution of the Year category at the Connected Britain Award 2024. The nomination recognises our enterprise product pivOTS™.

The ability for broadband customers to easily switch between CSPs is hugely positive for our industry. The approach taken in the UK (‘One Touch Switching’ or ‘OTS’) is the most advanced in Europe, resulting in a technical challenge for CSPs. Sonalake’s pivOTS™ solution efficiently solves that problem, accelerating CSPs readiness to support OTS.

The best proof of Sonalake’s success with pivOTS™ can be measured by the performance of its customers in achieving the TOTSCo testing milestones and thus being ready for the OTS mandatory go-live date of 12th September ‘24.

Most recently, one of Sonalake’s clients, Zen Internet, became the first CSP outside of the ‘big 4’ to complete the final hurdle (PIT - production implementation testing). Zen has also carried out staff trials with other CSPs (switching live services).

Several other clients have completed end-to-end integration testing and indeed, as early as February 2024, Sonalake secured 'TOTSCo Ready' certification and successfully completed pivOTS™ integration testing with independent large provider KCOM.
