Sonalake @ Smart City – assumptions and perspectives congress

In the last week of March Sonalake attended the “Smart City – assumptions and perspectives” congress in Warsaw, an annual event dedicated to trends in Smart City technologies and services development.

During the event experts and policy-makers discussed the ever expanding role of technology in building cities of the future. The 10th edition of the congress was given honorary patronage by the Polish Ministry of Digitalization, Ministry of Energy and Embassy of Sweden.

During the opening session, Michał Kolasiński, our Director of Professional Services presented Sonalake’s solution for management and monitoring of smart city infrastructure. In a presentation called “Integrated Smart City Management” he outlined the challenges faced by modern organizations in having multiple infrastructure and services vendors and the associated difficulty in maintaining a big picture. Michal described a recent deployment of Sonalake’s Verax NMS & APM system to monitor the quality of an intelligent transport system, public security devices and public transportation services infrastructure in a large European city.

The event agenda included four debates with experts discussing intelligent city infrastructure, sustainable transport and the role of initiatives and civic involvement in creating cities of the future.
